Residential renovation

Plumbing that makes the remodel work.

Moving a vanity, adding a basement bath or opening up a kitchen changes more than the fixtures. We plan the supply, drain and vent work behind the walls so the finished space looks right and works for decades.

  • Layout changes welcome
  • Works with your remodeler
  • Permits and inspections

What we renovate

Renovation plumbing for every room.

Whether you are refreshing one bathroom or reworking the whole house, the plumbing scope is planned around the layout, fixtures and finishes you have chosen.

Bathroom Remodels

From a powder room update to a primary suite with a curbless shower, we handle the rough-in and the trim.

  • Shower valves, body sprays and linear drains
  • Freestanding tub fillers and drains
  • Double vanities and wall-hung toilets

Kitchen Remodels

New islands and relocated sinks need drains and vents that meet code without showing up in the design.

  • Island sinks and prep sinks
  • Dishwashers, disposals and ice makers
  • Pot fillers and gas range connections

Basement Finishing

Many Lake County basements sit below the sewer line. We plan the fixtures and the pump that serves them.

  • Below-grade bathrooms and wet bars
  • Sewage ejector and sump pump systems
  • Laundry rooms and utility sinks

Whole-Home Renovations

When walls are open throughout the house, it is the right time to replace aging supply and drain lines.

  • Galvanized and cast-iron replacement
  • New main shut-off and manifold layouts
  • Updated water heating for added fixtures

Luxury & Custom Upgrades

Custom fixtures often carry specific rough-in dimensions, flow needs and valve requirements. We plan for them early.

  • Steam showers and multi-head systems
  • Recirculation for instant hot water
  • Whole-home filtration and softening

Additions

A new wing, in-law suite or second-floor bath means extending the existing system without overloading it.

  • Tie-ins to existing supply and drain
  • Sizing checks for added fixtures
  • Frost-protected lines in new exterior walls

More than fixture replacement

The work behind the walls is what makes a remodel last.

Swapping a faucet is simple. Moving a sink six feet, adding a shower where there was none or tying a new bath into a 1960s drain line takes planning. That is the part we focus on.

  • Plumbing relocationSupply, drain and vent rerouted to match the new layout.
  • Repiping during renovationReplace aging pipe while walls and floors are already open.
  • Fixture & equipment installValves, fixtures, water heaters and pumps set and tested.
  • Designer & builder coordinationWe work from your plans and keep the trades in sequence.
  • Existing-condition reviewWe check what is already there before anything is priced.
  • Permits & inspectionsPlumbing permits pulled and inspections scheduled for you.
See the difference

From dated to done.

A pedestal sink and a cramped toilet corner become an open bathroom with a freestanding tub. Getting there means moving drains, adding a tub filler and rethinking the supply lines, all before the tile goes up.

  • Drains relocated to suit the new layout
  • Supply lines sized for the new fixtures
  • Valves set to the finished wall depth
  • Everything pressure tested before close-up
After: bright modern bathroom with a freestanding tub
Before: small dated bathroom with a pedestal sink and toilet

How a renovation runs

From plans to finished space.

Plumbing touches a remodel twice: once before the walls close and again when the finishes are in. We plan both visits from the start.

Review & Walkthrough

We review your plans or sketches, walk the space and look at the existing pipe, drains, venting and water heater.

02

Scope & Estimate

You get an itemized plumbing scope that lists relocations, fixtures, allowances and any recommended pipe replacement.

03

Rough-In & Inspection

With walls open, we install supply, drain and vent lines and valve bodies, pressure test and meet the inspector.

04

Trim & Walkthrough

After tile and cabinets, we set fixtures and trim, test every connection and walk you through the finished work.
